Ruling level x lines

so with the stage 2s with level x's it is already obvious that 3-2-3-1 is the standard evolution lineup. 3-2-2-2 can be great (with infernape at least) but it is too narrow to be consistent.

but how will the lines with stage 1s and basics with level x's go? since all the stage 1s also have babies, will they more or less mirror the stage 2 strategy or will stage 1s be (3) 3-2-2 or (3) 3-3-1? i think the fact that there are babies involved will make the stage 1 level x's harder to play than the stage 2s currently are (two words: cessation crystal). basics will be the easiest and probably will be pretty evenly split between 2-2 and 3-1 depending on the deck and metagame.

i am curious what conclusions others are coming to.

For baby basics it will depend if the basic is decent. Like electriver lv.x line would be 3-3-3-1 lines since Baby evo and Mentor can get the basic and baby out fast. However playing an electriver Lv. X line takes out 10 spaces of your deck. For this reason most people will play a (1-2mabey) 3-3-1 line. This takes anywhere from 7-9 spaces, 7 being more common. Basics will be 3-1 for more speed.
P.S. Lucario is a babyless stage 1.

2-2-2 > 3-3-1. If people play 2-2, why not make it 2-2-2?. For Palkia/Dialga: 2-2

I actually like 4-2-3-1 for Infernape level X. Easier to get Chimchar starts and since I'll be using farmer anyway it speeds things up a bit.

For the Stage 1 level X's I'm thinking that 3-3-3 or maybe even 4-4-3 with Electivire in something like Electinite.
