Mega Manectric EX is a sleeper for sure. The free retreat cost and the ability to attack 2 energy from the discard pile is a powerful effect. Since it wont be going down in 2 hits in most cases, combo'd with Max Potion, it can support itself by removing all damage on it, and then re attack the energy. Its attack only cost 2 energy as well. I know fighting types are on the rise but this is a card I won't sleep on.

I think your build for the standard format is consistent, but it might lack versatility/options. I would have liked that you wrote about the Lucario, Mienshao, and other fighting based match-ups. Articuno with the Delta Plus trait can help out in addition to the Regice in these match-ups. I would also have liked you discussed the mirror, which might be why a user might elect to include cards like Enhanced Hammer or a second Ringer.

I did want to leave the standard format section a little open ended so that deck builders would have room for creativity. My goal was to present a consistent list that could easily be altered by the user.

Next time I will include more information about mirror matches, thank you for your input.
