So I am A Pokedad who runs our local league and also am a longtime CCG fanatic. I have to admit my favorite part of the hobby is deckbuilding, I have 17 decks built currently (I use a lot of proxies but yes we have almost a playset of the current legal cards). We have close to 30 regulars at our weekly league and we do it a little different than most, we run a 3 round tournament with a $5 buy in. Everyone gets a prize pack and the winners get two, It’s been very popular for us and most kids join every week. Because it can get a little competitive I let kids borrow my decks to play with if they want (I also spend most of my time helping kids build competent decks).
Anyway I am always looking for new deck ideas; I read a lot of topics on these forums just for ideas and am looking for some more. I don’t really care if they are BDIF decks just good solid league decks for senior age kids. Oh and HGSS-on only please.
