Ruling Losing/Sleepy Lost

Hello Everyone!

I'm new to Pokemon and have some general questions that I have not been able to find the answers to in the Compendium or other forums.

1. Can you lose if you pick up all the cards in your deck?

2. Can an opponent keep using Mime Jr.'s "Sleepy Lost" over and over, until you have no more cards in your deck ... and will that mean you lost?

3. If you have no cards left in your hand after your turn, does that mean you lost?

4. Assuming the answer to #1 is Yes ... If an attack requires you to discard the top card of your deck, and you only have one card left in your deck, can you not use that attack?

5. If my opponent and I both have one prize card left, and I KO Chandelure (Phantom Forces), then he flips and gets heads (Fainting Spell) ... who wins the game?

It is an automatic loss when you start your turn and you are unable to draw.

2. Can an opponent keep using Mime Jr.'s "Sleepy Lost" over and over, until you have no more cards in your deck ... and will that mean you lost?
Depends. If you play with all cards from any set, there is many ways to get across Mime Jr. As for his attack though, it is an interesting effect as it allows me to explain to you the 4 methods you can lose/win. If you are unable to draw a card at the start of your turn, you lose. If you are out of benched pokemon when your active is KO'ed, you lose. If your opponent takes all 6 prizes, you lose. If you use the effect of cards, such as Lost World, you may win/lose also.

But basically yes, if you can't move Mime Jr from his active position during your turn, he might be able to (although rarely) deck you out.

3. If you have no cards left in your hand after your turn, does that mean you lost?
No, it means you have a hand of 0 cards. You can still draw a supporter and use it like Professor Sycamore. You "discard" your hand of 0 cards and draw 7 new cards.

4. Assuming the answer to #1 is Yes ... If an attack requires you to discard the top card of your deck, and you only have one card left in your deck, can you not use that attack? You can, but if you don't win on that turn, during your next turn it is an automatic loss and all your opponent needs to win is pass his turn immediately.

5. If my opponent and I both have one prize card left, and I KO Chandelure (Phantom Forces), then he flips and gets heads (Fainting Spell) ... who wins the game? A tie since all effects must be completed before the acquisition of a prize card, but depending on the tournament rules or if its a casual game, there is many different ways to solve a tie. Perhaps a 4-prize game, a 2 out of 3, etc. Ask your tournament organizer about the rulings.
