Ruling Lost Burn

I was watching a video on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EOIcemM7eU) of someone playing with a yanmega/magnezone deck and at 7:43 he uses lost burn and takes an energy attached to a benched pokemon to boost his attack. My question is can you really do that? I thought it was only energies attached to the active magnezone.

This is a legal play. Magnezone says you may take energies "attatched to your pokemon" to boost the attack. The Pokémon on that player's bench are still that player's Pokémon.
