Finally watched 'happily ever after' - seems like Desmond has another Job to do on the island.
I don't think The End will be that drastic. The LOST-writers/producers are kinda known to keep things relatively small. I can't imagine it will be somthing like blowing up the earth/destroying the earth or whatever. Maybe it'll be the end of the Island. Maybe it becomes a 'lonely place for the black smoke', and everybody else dies.
Well, we'll see. We just have to wait a couple of episodes. Sigh, It'll be over so soon ;(

I predict that Hurley is going to replace Jacob. I mean, he can already talk to the dead/has special powers. Jacob has them as well, but no other Lostie has^^

What did you guys think about tonight's episode? I cried a little bit (spoiler) when Michael and Hurley were in the jungle, and Michael told Hurley what the whispers were, (spoiler) I'm not going to lie. I thought this was one of the coolest episodes of the season. I'm trying not to spoil it for anyone, so I won't, but let me just say it's a very explosive episode.

I liked this episode as well. I saw it last night and at first I got this feeling that it wouldn't be any good. But, well after (spoiler) the dynamite vs Ilana (spoiler), it turned a good way. I really liked how Hurley got these flasbacks as well.
And of course the return of some old characters. As with almost every episode this season ^^ seems kinda nostalgic.
Can't wait for next episode. The flashsideways really seem to get somewhere right now. Really, Desmond is doing a great job. Poor Locke...

Okay, so, I'm really pissed and happy and sad all at the same time.
I'm happy because Sayid got his retribution and is now respectable again, but now he's dead. I miss the badass Sayid from Season 1,2,3,4, and 5. But still, what he did was so amazing, sacrificing himself for everyone else.
Jin and Sun... was sad. The scene made me shed a few tears, and I can only imagine how pissed Smokey is right now. May they rest in peace with all the other losties.
OKAY, SO I'M PISSED NOW. LAPIDUS DIED. WHAT WAS THE POINT OF HIS CHARACTER EXISTING IN SEASON 6?! Seriously, his job was to bring everyone back to the Island in Season 5. Okay, great, so he did that. Why did they PROMOTE Jeff Fahey in Season 6 to main cast, but have him say 2-3 lines at MOST per episode, then kill him off?! It seems like he was just a redshirt, and it's really stupid. I really liked Lapidus, and I always felt like they screwed up his character a lot. I'm more sad about Sayid and Frank dying than Jin and Sun. =/
In the Flash-Sideways, nothing "omg amazing" happened really. Some backstory, but nothing else.

In the beginning, it looks like Jacob and MIB are playing backgammon near a well (maybe the one Desmond is trapped in, maybe the Orchid well). Nothing else other than that, except for random black and white scenes. I always liked the one where Locke has one black and white eye in Claire's dream way back in Season 1's "Raised By Another" Episode.
Anyway, here's the scene:
