Basic LostGar strategy. Omastar is basically a counter for every stage 1/2 deck. Sableye start and palkia g x to end the game with his poke power.

I want to make these changes but I am unsure of what all to takeout yet. Any input would be appreciated!

I almost never have a use for Call Energy. Rescue Energy helps me a lot more in matches, letting me put a Gengar right back down, and call is a waste of a turn. Mr.Mime is also pretty risky. Try more Spiritomb SF for evolution t1 and trainer locking SP.

dropping the call energies does seem like a good idea. plus 3 or so rescues would be awesome. along with a 4th collector im almost guaranteed a t1 collector. and spritomb AR(no sf :p) i found slows the deck down way to much. butt mr. mime is really useful, especially to check for pokemon. because if they dont you can force them to looker's or spiritomb into a new hand. or even use a seeker.
 
Put 3 Smeargles instead of Omastar, it isn't that good in the deck. It's not hunter, it's seeker. Play 2 BTS and 3 Lost World. Here are ALL the suggestions:

sorry about the name mix up. ive had the list for a while and forgot to change it.

but the omastar basically guarantees a win against any stage 1/2 deck. this is useful against ones like t-tar that could cause a problem by killing gengars to quickly. so i think im going to keep it.

looker's is to make them shuffle their hand in case they have no pokemon, but 2 may be all i need. ill consider it.

palkia g x was a good idea when i tested it, but its just to clunky. its difficult to get back with the 2 retreat cost, and easily bright looked by SP to be stuck in the active. even with warp energy it tends to be messy.

2 lost world is plenty because the chances of one, especially both, are not very good. its never happened to me in all of my testing. plus they are easily retrievable with twins. so ill keep stadiums how they are.

geng x isnt really all that necesary either. i prefer the 4th prime for a faster setup and more gengars.

I may fit in the smeargle and extra rescue though. ive been considering adding smeargle or sabeleye as a possible starter. the call energies arent really needed, and i think ill drop them for another rescue or two as well as a possible 4th collector.
 
Smeargle is better in this case, 'cause you see their hand and it's a pokepower.

I find Sableye to be a much better starter than Smeargle. I don't even take the fact that you can look at their hand into consideration. Usually I get Mr. Mime out before I do Gengar so there's not much benefit in seeing their hand before then. Also, it gives you much more control because you're using your supporters and not theirs, it guarantees something like Pokemon Collector so that you only need to run like 2 of them.

Palkia is meant to be laid down on the turn you plan to win, so the retreat cost is irrelevant. A lot of the cards have free retreat and with an Unown Q you're just about guaranteed to get that Palkia active to level it up on the turn you want it, as long as you had it out before. It's nice because you get to win that turn and you don't have to attack and give your opponent another turn to attack you. Palkia is pretty much mandatory to keep LostGar decks on par.

Omastar's a pretty good idea for a tech.... it's hard to really predict how it'll work out, I have never been able to get the thing in play yet in a play-test. You can use Rare Candy on it, right? You have 3 already in the deck, so if you can then you don't need an omanyte.

Also, try to run about 3 Rescue Energy. I've tested that a lot and it's amazing in this deck, combo that with the rare candy and you can bring a Gengar back to life and attack with it again on your next turn.
 
i was thinking sabeleye would be a really good start as well, butt i was unsure about it. i may put it in now over smeargle tho considering i would be able to drop the collector line.

and i never really considered this option with bringing it in for the win. thats a fantastic idea. now i feel dumb for never considering it haha. i may very well have to put it in now.

and i love omastar as a tech. i keep him 1-1-1 so he can be seekered up and re-used if necesary. its usually not, but its a lot easier to have the option of dropping him like that with broken time space AND having the option to candy him instead of having to candy him.

and ive been wanting to do 3 rescues in here. i havent made any changes to my deck yet, those above were just considerations. im definitely dropping the 3 call though, and maybe even a collector now. ill work in 4 sableye and 2 more rescues. ill probably get palkia g x in there as well.

I think your 3 suggestions seem good, it's harder to make suggestions without an updated list. Your list seems pretty good right now so beyond this I think your changes might best be based off of what's being played in your meta-game. Play-test these cards out and see how things go. I know for me one problem was speed so I made room for 4 Poke Drawer.
 
yeah yeah. i know what you mean. i just updated my list, i just need room now to add 3, possibly 4, cards.
