EDIT: Fixed the card scan. I had originally copied the image link for the tiny version of the card. Whoops! I'm a newb.
So when you attach a metal energy to Lucario, he gains metal type. Does he still retain the 2x psychic weakness or is it overridden by the resistance? I know the ruling is weakness calculated before resistance, but I can't find anything about when the weakness and resistance are the same. Plus, it seems sort of strange to be both weak and resistant to the same type, heh. The games handle it by just cancelling out and doing normal damage.
Also I read this while looking up how dual typing works: Dual-type Pokémon are extra-powerful against Pokémon with Weaknesses against either type. For example, Suicune & Entei LEGEND (HS—Unleashed, 94/95 and 95/95) is both a Water-type and Fire-type. This means it hits harder against a Defending Pokémon with a Weakness to either Fire or Water, such as Shaymin (HS—Unleashed, 8/95) or Magmortar (HS—Unleashed, 2/95). With greater versatility, dual-type Pokémon rarely struggle with type mismatches. What does it mean by "hits harder"? Is it just talking about how you can hit more pokemon for their weaknesses or is there some inherent damage bonus simply by being dual type and damaging a pokemon's weakness?
