Luxray from Psycho Drive

Hi all, I am a big luxray fan and want to make a deck from this card

His first attack Flash impact does 60 damage for 1 electric with the drawback of having to place 20 damage on a benched pokemon

Second attack for 2 electric and 1 colorless does 80 damage and you discard an energy attached.

So I was thinking of using this guy with Eel for energy re-attachment. Sky arrow to make it free retreat and also using Zekrom / Reshiram / Any outrage dragon to stack the 20 damage from the first attack onto a dragon for an outrage KO

Would also chuck in a couple of crushing hammer / lost remover or some other energy denial card to help be more annoying

Sky Narrow only works for basics. Luxray is a Stage 2.

I don't think Luxray will see play when Donphan is in the format. He is a bulkier Stage 1 with better typing that has a similar attack with an arguably better drawback. And even Donphan isn't very viable.

I would consider adding Zekrom to your deck, though. It gives you a practical place to put the recoil damage. You could even add Reshiram and Kyurem if you wanted.

Ahhh, Sorry my bad someone gave me a bad translation D: I got "Each players active pokemon" didn't get the basic part should have checked bulbapedia first!

Definitly going to add Zekrom/Reshiram and maybe even Kyurem to build up the damage onto on the bench Donphan is definitly a problem but down here in New Zealand the meta is NOTHING like you guys are used to lol!!! Decks like this have a chance down here

Definitly not going to be a top tier deck by any means, but it would be nice to get a version of it that runs quite well.

It would be a good idea to use Kyurem to kill Donaphans. The cards do have synergy (eel, lux, and dragons), so it looks like it would be a pretty good (at least fun) deck to try out.
