• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

    When posting in a thread, be sure to explain all your suggestions thoroughly. Additionally, do not ask for advice in another member's thread.

(Luxray, Liepard, Delcatty) Azumanga Daioh 2.0

OK I decided to retire the Spooky Deck and put together a new Fun deck.
This is based on the Azumanga Daioh anime/manga.

In this particular series there are a lot of cats.
One of the girls really likes cats, so she tries to pet one of them.
It then bites her on the hand...

The reason this is 2.0 is cause I made a similar idea in the Diamond & Pearl days.
It also had Luxray, but was helped by Delcatty & Meowth.

Anyhow here is the deck

Pokemon:
  • 4 Shinx (Jump On/Static Shock)
  • 2 Luxio (Jump On/Wild Charge)
  • 2 Luxio (Quick Turn/Bite)
  • 4 Luxray (Flash Impact/Crunch)
  • 4 Skitty (Tackle/Double Slap)
  • 4 Delcatty (Gather Energy/Double Slap)
  • 4 Purrloin (Scratch/Slash)
  • 4 Liepard (Taunt/Sucker Punch)
Trainers:
  • 4 Cheren
  • 2 Hugh
  • 4 Professor Juniper
  • 4 Pokemon Communication
  • 2 Ether
  • 4 Plus Power
Energy:
  • 6 Dark
  • 6 Lightning
Strategy: use either Liepard or Luxray to attack. Delcatty is a back-up attacker that can accelerate the energy. Taunt is basically Catcher as an attack.
With the low retreat costs on the Pokemon, it really should not be an issue with stuff like poison.

Slight update:

All 4 Luxio are now the (Jump On/Wild Charge) kind.
Took out Hugh & Ether & put in 4 N.
