Ruling Luxray vs T-Tar Scenario

My opponent has a Luxray as his Active Pokemon and I have a Pupitar as mine. My opponent uses...
Flash
{L} 30
If the Defending Pokemon tries to attack during your opponent's next turn, your opponent flips a coin. If tails, that attack does nothing.

I understand my Pupitar would take 10 damage because it has a resistance to Lightning Pokemon. But it's my turn now and I evolve my Pupitar into a Tyranitar. Does the effect of Flash go away or does it still linger.

Another question!
¬If my opponent used Flash(see above), and I retreat the Pokemon it was used on, does the effect of Flash go away?

Thanks in advance. :p

The card text of "Flash" specifically puts the attack effect on the defending Pokémon (Pupitar). Therefore, if Pupitar is retreated, leveled-up or evolved, the effect of Flash would be removed. If the attack text instead read something like "If Luxray is attacked during your opponent's next turn, your opponent flips a coin. If tails, that attack does nothing." then the effect would be placed on Luxray, and Luxray itself would need to be de-evolved or switched out of the active position for that effect to go away.
