i've seen a lot of replys on forums that u can get lvl x card like their evolution cards with professor elms training methood or celio's network and pokeball. i dont have the rule book for dp yet so i dont know but i personally think that lvl x is not an evolution card. if it does count as an evolution card can somone fill me in

Lvl Xs are not classed as evolution cards. They're not basics and they're not evolutions, they're classed as just "Pokemon". Cards like Celio's network can search out Lvl Xs but Prof.Elm's Training Method cannot.

what about a pokeball? it searches out basic pokemon or evolution pokemon but not pokemon. im asking this because my uncle was using a pokeball to bring him out

Current rulings now state that anything that used to state "Basic or Evolution" now just classifies them as "Pokémon. As stated above. Pokéball uses said ruling, thus able to search them.
