Prior to rotation, I used to run it with Decidueye GX, Koko, and Espeon. It had consistency issues but when you are able to set it up fast, it puts a lot of pressure on the opponent.

I really love Mega Audino. So as I moved forward to post-rotation, I thought of ways it can keep up with the current meta. With damage spread continuing to become a key strategy in the format, I thought Mega Audino and its 50 damage snipe may still have a decent chance at keeping up with the current meta. To me, the toughest draw back for running Mega Audino is the necessity for spirit links.

I'll just add a bit of my thoughts for including some key cards in the deck:

3-3 M Audino Line

This is my main attacker. 110 damage to the defending Pokemon and 50 damage to a benched Pokemon can put a lot of pressure on your opponent if you can set it up early. I feel like running a 4-3 is too much so I settled with a 3-3 line. I thought of running 3-2 but that will increase the chance of prizing all my Mega Audinos.

Tapu Koko, Necrozma GX, and Espeon EX

Koko and Necrozma's roles are to spread damage across the opponent's Pokemon. Starting with Tapu Koko and a DCE will be very nice while following it mid-game with M Audino and/or Espeon EX will be causing KOs on your opponent's end.

Clawitzer STS

This card lets you attach an extra special energy (DCE) to your Mega Evolution Pokemon every single turn. This will help you recover quickly when your active M Audino EX gets KO'd. It enable you to attack despite not having any energy attached prior to your turn when you attach a basic metal energy via normal attachment and a DCE via Clawitzer's ability.

3 Tapu Lele-GX

Aside from adding consistency, running 3 will help meet the required use of a supporter for M Audino EX's attack.

Magearna-EX STS

This is simply a tech against Drampa-GX's righteous edge and other possible disruptive effects of attacks. Including Magearna is highly optional and I'm very much open to suggestions.

4 Field Blower and 3 Choice Band

4 field blower is disruptive. Also, removing those spirit links and replacing it with choice band will be help improve Mega Audino's damage.

I am very open to suggestions for improvement. Let me know what you think.
