Hey there all!

I am currently building a water deck and here's what I have:

Pokemon: 17
  • 1 Blastoise EX (XY)
  • 1 M-Blastoise EX (XY)
  • 1 Manaphy EX
  • 1 Registeel EX (DE)
  • 1 Squirtle (PB) might add in a second.
  • 1 Wartortle (PB)
  • 1 Blastoise (PB)
  • 2 Froakie (XY)
  • 1 Greninja (water shuriken)
  • 1 Greninja BREAK
  • 1 Suicune (PB)
  • 1 Articuno (RS 16/108)
  • 1 Gothita (FF)
  • 1 Gothitelle (FF)
  • 1 Bunnelby (XY)
  • 1 Diggersby (XY)
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums: 31
  • 3 Shauna
  • 2 Tierno
  • 2 Colress
  • 2 Skyla
  • 1 N
  • 1 Cilan
  • 3 Evosoda (but I'm pretty sure I can drop one.)
  • 3 Energy Retrieval
  • 3 Rare candy
  • 3 Professor's Letter (might drop one due to Articuno / plenty of draw/redrawing cards.)
  • 2 Great Ball
  • 2 Dive Ball (considering adding a 3rd.)
  • 2 Pokemon Communication
  • Float Stone
  • 2 Rough Seas
Energy: 12
  • 12 Water Energy
Strategy:

The overall strategy would setting up for both Greninja/Greninja BREAK and M-Blastoise EX, for multiple bench hitting, period. Unfortunately both of those take time to set up, especially since there's no spirit link for M-Blastoise. Suicune stalls and kills EX's while Registeel can stall and hit 3 of the opponents pokemon (it's also nice to have as most of the deck is weak to grass) Articuno pulls energies faster working well with Blastoise, who lays down energies however needed. Manaphy provides easy rearranging of your actives and works great with rough seas. Gothitelle and Diggersby support by dumping opponent stadiums and playing rough seas, and pulling back items you made need to reuse from the discard, such as energy retrievals.

I've done a few tests and the deck runs pretty but I've also listed a few alternatives and things the deck doesn't address, but I'm not sure what could/should be dropped/added to make the deck more effective so any insight is much appreciated. Thx!

Other pokemon that were removed of have been considered:
  • Keldeo EX - got dropped for Manaphy EX
  • Kyogre EX and M-Kyogre EX - greater damage than M-Blastoise EX and hits more of the bench.
  • Golduck BREAK (with Golduck and Psyduck of course) - for moving W energies around on my pokemon, especially if using M-Kyogre EX.
  • Mr. Mime (PF) - protection from sniping but seemed unneeded with Manaphy and rough seas doing healing.
  • Kyurem (NV) - does the same as Registeel.
Other considered supporters:
  • Archies ace in the hole - rejected since it would only work in this deck in maybe 2 out of every ten situations.
  • Lysandre
  • Deliquent
  • Team flare grunt - all of these are providing benefits that the deck currently doesn't have but I'm not sure what should be dropped to put them in.

Moved from the TCG Help & Advice to the Deck Garage as the OP is looking for assistance on a full 60-card deck. ~bbninjas

I think you should play less Pokémon, but thicker lines of them. You could play a 4-4-4-3 Greninja BREAK, and that be it, or something like that. That way, your deck will be more consistent--you won't have a Greninja in hand and need Blastoise.
