As we know, there are lots of awesome supports that were rotated out this year for fire-type Pokemon and I can't really find a way to make the deck faster... any tips would be lovely

Got the motivation from the Evolution set as the starters finally got the spirit links they needed!!

Pokemon - 14
2x Charizard EX (FLF)
2x Charizard EX (GEN)
2x M Charizard EX (GEN)
1x M Charizard EX (FLF)
3x Volcanion (STS)
2x Shaymin EX (ROS)

Trainers - 24
4x Max Elixir
3x Max Turbo
4x Ultra Ball
3x VS Seeker
3x Energy Switch
2x Switch/Float Stone?
3x Charizard Spirit Link
2x Trainers' Mail

3x Scorched Earth

Supporters - 9
3x Professor Sycamore
2x N
1x Professor Birch's Observations
1x Lysandre
1x Pokemon Fan Club
1x Misty's Determination
1x Brock's Grit

Energy - 12
10x Fire Energy
2x DCE

I chose Ninetails to use in this deck as it's a decent match-up against Giratina EX (Can't be attacked by Mega Pokemon) and Mewtwo EX as Ninetails uses all its' energy in one go. (The 140hp is also a nice thing)

The extra M Charizard from flashfire is there as a surefire way to knockout opponents Pokemon rather than the other one, where you have to flip to land more damage. Putting one in there is cool as like a final attack? :S

The variety of supporters are played because of the art! But really not too sure what supports are meant for the deck, maybe more N and less Sycamore?

I'm also thinking of putting hammers in to try slow down my opponent? Not entirely sure...

Any help would be great thanks!

As with any fire deck that needs energy acceleration, consider Volcanion (the non-EX version) and Scorched Earth. Ultra Balls/Scorched Earth/Sycamore to get two fire energy into discard (or more if you've got a Mega on the bench and Mega Turbo in hand), and Volcanion's Power Heater attack can attach those two energy to two benched Pokemon. If you can start with Volcanion and have him take a few hits while getting extra energy out, it can really help set up a pair of Charizard.

I'd drop the Ninetales line and replace those six card with three Volcanion and three Scorched Earth. It'll help with energy acceleration and help if you need to knock out an opponent's stadium.

Good idea!! Totally forgot about the Volcanion! I had Scorched Earth before but I found out I kept discarding too many energies, but with Volcanion in the deck it should work really well with discarding energies.
