• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

Hello everyone. I'm using M Gardevoir-EX deck, and would like to hear some words from you guys about what I should (or not) change on my list. There are some things like Shaymin-EX that I'm dying to get more, so I'll work with only one for now. My problem is that I don't know what I should use with Garde: Giratina? Garbodor? some tech like Zoroark, Raichu or Umbreon? Well, I'll post my actual list, and you guys feel free to point the good and bad stuff about it, please. Thanks for now.

There are some things I'm looking for, like more Shaymin-EX and VS Seeker. I'm thinking about use Garbodor, but I don't really want to drop Giratina, since it helps a lot with mirror, but the 4 Energy attack are heavy sometimes. Before this list, I was using 2 Giratina-EX with 4 DDE, and it was good, but I cut slots to Shaymin and Hoopa. Ninja boy is there to change a bad Shaymin/Hoopa/Giratina starter, Float Stone it's a way to retreat even without Energy or Fairy Garden, Eco Arm to retrieve the spirit links. Nothing new, I just don't know how to polish this deck.

I was thinking about some techs, like Umbreon-EX or Zoroark BKT, but not sure about it.

So, What do you guys think about this list?
 
A few thoughts for your consideration:
  • I only run 1 Shaymin EX in all my tournament decks; so, I just compensate with "extra" card-draw support.
  • If Giratina EX is also a primary attacker, then a second copy would enhance your chances of having 1 available. Should your sole 1 be prized, then the DDEs would not be useful at all, except for Ultra Ball fodder.
  • 2 additional Ultra Ball would also be very helpful.
  • The additional 2 VS Seeker are critical to maximizing your opportunities to recover and reuse discarded key Supporter resources.
  • To supplement your current 7 Pokémon (which have the potential of giving mulligan draws to your opponent), have you considered Unown?
Suggested changes:
-1 M Gardevoir EX - 3 should be sufficient
-1 Hex Maniac - 1 should be sufficient
-1 Pokémon Ranger - 1 should be sufficient
-1 Eco Arm - not as important vs. other cards
-3 Crushing and Enhanced Hammer - not as important vs. other cards
-2 Trainer's Mail - not as important vs. other cards

+1 Giratina EX
+2 Xerneas (STS) - non-EX attacker and provides energy-attachment acceleration
+1 Judge / N - more card-draw support
+1 Professor Sycamore - more card-draw support
+2 Ultra Ball
+2 VS Seeker​
