Strategy:

Been out of the competitive scene a loooooooong time so pardon any obvious oversights or dumb questions. Haha. What I'm going for in this is using Sceptile EX and poison effects for maximum damage. And then using M-Sceptile EX to help power up Lugia EX, with Virizion as backup in encountering EX blocking decks. As I mentioned I've been out of the game for a while so I'm just starting to build my collection back up. The EX's are what I have handy and that seem like they would work together. Unfortunately haven't had the fortune to pull Shaymin EX so that's a hindrance in the current scene it seems. ANY help you guys can provide would be much appreciated!
 
For expanding you are missing an ace spec. Probably computer search or dowsing machine is ur best bet. Though with this deck is think I would try scoop up cyclone. Being able to fully heal 1 sceptile by picking it up and then using those 2 energy to heal or charge up to 2 more pokemon seems pretty great.
Maybe take out lasers completely and add 1 malamar ex. So you can easily get that laser effect each turn.
I don't especially like Lugia or virizion in here. I would drop Lugia and dce for malamar ex and dark energy. And those are super cheap atm.

You also have a ton of energy. Maybe drop it down to 10 grass with 2 energy retrieval and 2 letters. This more easily get those 2 energy for jagged sabers in hand.
I also want to suggest a few skyla for the deck. As hitting those energy items at the right time can make and break a game. Maybe drop a hex maniac the 3rd ariados and a max potion.

I don't see why you need Forest of Giant Plants at all. I'd run 4x Virbank to maximize the poison damage from Ariados. I'd also consider using muscle band on Sceptile just to give more damage to Unseen Claw. 60+70+20 (MB)+30 (Virbank poison) = that magic 180!

I like the idea of Malamar to give an alternate way to deal status. Virizion-EX is a 1x tech at best.
