Hey! So my deck is M Scizor hypno and this weekend I managed to go 6-2-1. The goal is to get Hypno out and steel shelter and hit hard fast. Let me know what I can improve. I have 2 VS Seekers that I know I need to add but I don't know what to take out and I also need to add a another steel shelter but don't know what to take out eithier. Thanks!

Pokémon:
  • 4 Scizor EX
  • 3 M Scizor EX
  • 2 Hypno
  • 2 Drowzee
  • 2 Bronzong
  • 2 Bronzor
  • 1 Aegislash EX
  • 2 Shaymin EX
Trainers:
  • 4 Professor Sycamore
  • 2 Shauna
  • 2 Lysandre
  • 1 Judge
  • 1 Delinquent
  • 4 Ultra Ball
  • 3 Trainers' Mail
  • 3 Scizor Spirit Link
  • 3 Super Scoop Up
  • 2 Max Potions
  • 2 Mega Turbo
  • 2 Steel Shelter
  • 2 Float Stone
  • 1 Muscle Band
Energy:
  • 10 Metal Energy

Cool idea! (as you can tell from my profile picture I've been trying to make hypno work) First off you need more than two steel shelters. I would take out the muscle band and a float stone for two more shelters

You definitely do not need the float stone and muscle band because you have the scizor spirit link. You could swap those three cards for 2 Steel Shelter and 1 VS Seeker.

Ok thanks, what else should I add or take out? Should I get rid of the Bronzong line?

The variant I use just has Bronzong mega scizor and Aegislash. Keep the Bronzong line, it helps with recovery after a scizor goes down and with speed. The hypno is not needed, so (sorry hypno!) I would scrap it. Wish it were more like ariados where it doesn't affect psychic types.

The thing is though M Scizor needs 2 hits to knock out most things so it needs hypno to make sure the opponent Dosent 1 hit it. Do you have a deck list of your variant? I would be interested

I have been playing a lot of M Scizor/Garbodor and I don't feel the want for Bronzong. And the deck I played before this was Tyrantrum. Honestly I feel like two basic attachments isn't asking for much, and the inclusion of a handful of Mega Turbos can really help speed up your active Scizors, as well as help you establish more Scizors on the bench for later.

Now, without Bronzong, you don't have as much use with the Aegislash, which does hurt. I think another benefit of removing Bronzong in this line up is that it reduces the number of bad Lysandre targets. Imagine getting stuck into a Bronzong late game, without the chance to get it out of the slot, to watch your opponent set up a big kill, or deck you out. Hypno is a cheaper retreat cost than Bronzong, which means you may find the attachments one turn earlier to recover.

With all that in mind, I believe you should have at least one AZ in the deck. AZ gives you the option to pick up a Pokemon under Item Lock, as well as one more, or a guaranteed chance to pick up a stranded active. Also, keep running two Float Stones too alleviate that issue. It will help with the Shaymins and your support mons.

Sounds good , I do find Bronzong to be very clunky and not being able to draw in to a float stone or a super scoop up is hell, especially late game as you mentioned. So do you just recommend upping the M turbo count and including a AZ?

It's not really perfected yet, but when I'm done I'll pm you the list
