Pokemon:

3-3 Magmortar TR
2-2-2 Emboar (B/W)
2-2 Ninetails UL
4 Spiritomb AR

Energy:

20{R}

T/S/S
4 Fisherman
4 IQ
2 Burned Tower
4 Crush Hammer
4 Recycle
2 Pokemon Catcher

Load Energys on Emboar and Magmortar and tank my way through. Any suggestions on the deck or which Magmortar is better? Ninetails UL is for slow starts w/energy.

RE: MagBoar (Magmortar/Emboar) SV on

It might help if you tell us what Emboar does.
Y R U assuming the cut will be SV-on? Are you? IDEK.

Since this decklist contains over 50 cards, this thread belongs in the Deck Garage forum.

@ Lordy Jones I am assuming it will be RR on (I hope its Platinum on), however there are no Magmortar in RR. I say SV on cause thats what I want the deck as.

Emboar
Stage 2
Evolves from Stage 1 Pokemon (Cant remember the name)

Ability: Fervid Dance
Choose 1 {R} Energy card from your hand and attach it to one of your Pokemon. This ability can be used any number of times during your turn.

{R}{R}{C}{C} Heat Stamp: 80 damage.

First you should decide which magmortar to go with. Me and a friend have been thinking about using the TR magmortar to mill and deck the opponent out. But another stategy is to using research documents and other cards to stack the deck for the COL magmortar to hit for 100 or 150.
I also think you should also run some switch as pokemon catcher is likely to be rampent.

You need a lot more energy(wow it feels weird saying that). This deck runs 20-25 minimum. This allows maximum milling and use of Fervor Dance.
You shouldn't be running any Pokemon Catchers, since your objective isn't to take prize cards, but to mill your opponent into oblivion. You also won't need any Rare Candy, since you should optimally be using Spiritomb to evolve, and the Rare Candy rules will change once B&W comes out anyways. Professor Juniper is also unnecessary, since you don't want to be discarding what little resources your have to get set up. PONT should be sufficient for that if you really need it, although I really think you could cut those too. Finally, up your Spiritombs to 4, since you NEED to start with it.

**EDIT: Run Magmortar TR. Magmortar UL uses Delcatty PL to put energy on top of your deck, and SV is relegated to tech duty.**
