Magmortar+Infernape. Yay or Nay??

I have both, and I might just be able to use around $30 on more cards. I don't want to though because that's all my allowance. I do have a wide variety of cards already, though, so what exactly is M+I? And is it worth it??

P.S. I am talking about Secret Wonders Magmortar.

NO. Magmortar is just OWNAGE by itself with a couple of techs. Infernape is only all right with Typhlosion MT or Blaziken PK, but the best with Delcatty.

Focus on one of the other. That's my advice.

These two don't go well together. Both require you to get lots of energy into play quickly to be effective. Infernape X would be a slight improvement, but you still need some sort of engine to dump energy into the discard. And that means Magmortar sits and does nothing in the meantime.

If you're going to pick one of these to build around, pick Magmortar. Lots of good ways to play him. Infernape just isn't one of them.

i totally agree dudeman1993. magmortar is great by itself. but it slows down with infernape.
sorry, its just not a good a good combo anshkansara....
