Ruling Mantine and Kyogre/Groudon Legend

So I've never specifically asked about this before and wanted a ruling on it. I use Kyogre/Groudon Legend in a deck and I have used the card Mantine that has the attack Group Swim: Search your deck for a {W} Pokemon, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward. Can I use this attack to search my deck for a half of the Kyogre/Groudon Legend card, as it is technically a water type Pokemon?

Yes you may search for a legend piece. While not in play, legend pieces are just a Pokemon with no stage, no retreat cost, and no attacks. But they have a name and a type.
