Regional Championship Wil SG, Switzerland
Location
This tournament will be held on Saturday 29 March and Sunday 30 March 2014 at Stadtsaal Wil, Bahnhofplatz 6, 9500 Wil (SG), Switzerland.
The venue is placed in the center of Wil. It is a little City near the borders to Germany and Austria. At the venue of the Regional Championship is a local play festival where many other different games are presented. There is also a cafeteria at the venue and several restaurants, supermarkets (only Saturday) and a little kiosk (Saturday & Sunday) opened nearby. With the train station right next to the venue it is easy to travel by train with good connections to zurich and munich.
The tournament starts at 15:15 pm, but the registration at the venue opens at 11:30 am (till 15:00 pm). The size of the divisions is dependent on the number of players. The tournament is open to participants from all over the world.

Tournament structure
Participants play with their own decks in the Modified Constructed format.
That means that the use of cards is limited to certain series. Prior to the tournament, during the player meeting, one has to hand over a decklist and during the tournaments there will be deck checks.

Participants are divided into 3 divisions, dependent on the year of birth. These divisions are:
Junior division: born in 2003 or later;
Senior division: born in 1999, 2000, 2001 or 2002;
Masters division: born in 1998 or earlier.
The tournament will be using swiss with a top cut of 8 following. Swiss rounds will be played, with best-of-3 in rounds of 50 minutes + 3 turns. Top-cut will be played at Sunday after a second series of swiss rounds of best-of-3 in rounds of 50 minutes + 3 turns. Top-cut 8 will be played best-of-3 in rounds of 75 minutes + 3 turns
Regionals schedule
Saturday 29 March 2014:
11:30 am – 15.00 pm - registration players
15:15 pm - opening meeting
15:30 pm - start first round Swiss.
20:00 pm – end of the first day
Sunday 30 March 2014:
8:30 am – arrival players
9:00 am – continue with swiss rounds.
13:00 pm – start top cut 8
17:00 pm – End of last round finalists followed by handing out the prizes to the Winners

- Be at the venue in time, as those that arrive too late will receive a “round loss”.

Side Events
On Saturday evening there will be a League Challenge to round up the event. Registration for it will be on site.
Accomodation
We organized a mass accommodation for up to 56 people. If you decide to stay the night there, bring your own sleeping bag with you. Also there are a few hotels in the area.
