What's a marked card?? And why can't you use it in a tournament???
DNA said:The definition of a 'marked card' is a card that has some distinguishing mark on it that makes it look set apart from the rest of the cards in a deck, for example, a Rare Candy with a crease in it. If you see the crease, you know it's a Rare Candy. (Hence why they're not allowed - you can tell what it is before you draw it.)
In tournaments, no marked cards are to be used, and all 60 cards are to look the same, because to guard against unfair play. If cards have worn from age and are scratched on the back, it's fine, BUT you need to put them in sleeves so it's not obvious as to what they are.
