Ruling Marowak δ/Plus Power

[Psychic Pokemon Master]

Ok, I know Marowak δ is already out of format but I want to know something about the 1st attack(Energy Bone) because I'm building an unlimited deck. My question is what will happen to the 1st attack damage(Energy Bone) if I attach a Plus Power to Marowak δ during that particular turn??
Will the damage increase or remain the same??

My guess is the damage done to the Defending Pokemon will increase, but no one else, as PlusPower only works on the Defending Pokemon. In 2v2 battles, it'd work for both Defending Pokemon as well.
