Them main strategy with this deck is obvious but i have somewhat of a different setup than other Hydreigon/Darkrai decks. The first and possibly most obvious is Giratina. I run Giratina as a tech and actually use it quite a bit because of its a ability to 1HKO Rayquazas and Hydreigons. In a mirror having a pokemon that can one shot the engine of the deck without burning resources gives me an instant upper hand. Hydreigon has a very useful attack but the energy burn in it can cripple this deck if played at the wrong time without a solid energy acceleration. I have used Giratina in multiple mirror matches and it was unexpected and undoubtably won the game for me.

My biggest issue lately is getting crushed by RayEels. I can't stand getting 1HKOd by Quaza and especially with the generally slower energy acceleration a 1 shot can cripple your chances at winning. Dark Patch is very uselful with acceleration but it still isnt fast enough to trump RayEels. The main thing im looking for right now is to add in eviolite or two and possibly a fourth catcher. I generally like how my deck is setup now so im having trouble decideing what to take out because eviolite seems like a neccesity with the amount of Rayquaza EX ive seen lately.

Points i like about the setup:
1. 4 Max Potion makes sure i almost always have in when i need it and gives me a strong upper hand.
2. 3 Dark Patch has been the perfect number it seems like
3. 2-2 Split on level/heavy gives me 6 ways with ultra ball to search out deino and hydreigon, 2 ways with no discard and 8 ways to search zweilous.

Problems or cards that may not be needed
1. Super Rod. I barely use it but at the same time no card replaces it when you do need it and your in a corner. By that time however there usually either isnt hope or ive already discarded it in Juniper or Ultra Ball
2. Mewtwo. I can use it to one shot EXs but that is always dangerous with the amount of other Mewtwos and the slow energy acceleration.
3. Cheren. Cheren is meh. I only use it if thats the only thing i have because when i use draw supporters im usually going for specific cards and at 3 the odds are too low. Maybe take out all 3 for 2 more RR and something else.

Needs:
1. To incorporate Eviolite or another strategy against Rayquaza EX
2. To possibly add in another catcher
3. Any other constructive critisicm is welcome!

Ive been testing this deck for awhile and i really do like it and it keeps getting better and better. As a sidenote i do like having Giratina and only 2 Darkrai but if you have a really solid idea lets hear it i do appreciate the help but at the end of the day most of winning or losing is how a deck is played so my list has to fit my playstyle. Thanks for the help!!!

Here is what I would recommend

-2 heavy ball- just to make some room level ball and ultra ball are generally much better options
-1 ultra ball- three is usually enough to get dome dark energy in the discard and search out you pokemon
-1 giratina- a mostly sub par attacker that does not really help in the rayquaza match up, as it is ko'd after knocking out a rayquaza

+1 level ball- searches dieno and zweilous
+2 eviolite- helps avoid being on shot by rayquaza and terrakion
+1 darkrai- main attacker, also the ability is a necessity for the deck to function properly

This should really help you Rayquaza/Eel match up. Darkrai is your best attacker in this match up, putting damage on eels and setting up double eel knock outs should put a lot of pressure on your opponent. By reducing their energy acceleration you can easily two shot anything in their deck (save for eviolite on EX's) with little fear of being ko'd in return.

Yeah i been thinkin about upping to four catcher. With the amount of tool scrapper out there eviolite can take up more real estate than its effect is worth

- 1 geratina ex
- 1 super rod

+ 1 shaymin ex
+ 1 darkrai ex

I really prefer shaymin over geratina. Also 3 darkrai is really needed in this deck. I play this deck myself and my list isn't that different from yours. Love the 4 ultra balls.
Maybe you could drop.the heavy balls for 2 eviolite, but they come in handy for quick hydreigon.
Just my opionion hoped i helped in any way.

And i think youre right about eviolite. But maybe drop the 2 heavy balls for 1 level ball and 1 tool scrapper for garbodor. Also that 4th catcher would be nice!
