Pokemon:
The main point of this deck is to set up Genesect-EX for its Megalo Cannon attack as fast as possible. This can be accomplished first turn by attaching one grass energy to it from hand, using one Colress machine to attach a plasma energy, and using Archie's Ace in the Hole to get Swampert onto the bench. After Archie is used, an Ether must be used to attach another grass energy. Swampert's Diving Search is able to put that energy at the top of the deck, so Ether will work.
This is a very versatile deck, as it can have status resistance with Virision-EX's ability, the ability to control your opponent's active pokemon with Genesect-EX's red signal, and a counter to Pyroar's Intimidating Mane with Swampert (which, if set up, can be energized in one turn thanks to Ether and alpha growth).
The massive amount of Illumise gives an option for energy excerleration and confusion, but really is a placeholder until I think of something better.
This is definitely a work in progress. It was made one TCGone, so it hasn't accomodated Roaring Skies into it. With Roaring Skies, Shaymin-EX could greatly help this deck in place of Illumise. It would also work very well with Swampert's Diving search.
There are two thing that this deck lacks: Plasma Frigate and Lysandre's trump card. Plasma Frigate is needed to counter flareon and Silent Lab. Lysandre's Trump card is needed for to reset to have more energy acceleration.
With some testing this works. It needs to be improved, by replacing redundant cards with those I listed. As VirGen may seem too slow, this is the boost to pick it up.
