Can a discarded Stage 2 F Poké be retrieved and benched by playing this Supporter? I suspect this card will have an errata in the near future, but am interested in your immediate thoughts. Thanks.

No official ruling yet, but I'm pretty sure you can, as with the original Maxie from ex-TMTA.
There's nothing preventing you to do so in the card text, and the Japanese card text is the same.
 
According to the card explanations on the offical Pokemon website, you can indeed put non-Basic Pokemon directly onto your Bench via Maxie's Hidden Ball Trick and Archie's Ace in the Hole. Not only that, but the site explicitly states that if you were to do this with a Mega Evolution or Primal Reversion, it would not end your turn! This is because you're not "evolving" the Pokemon in question, you're just putting it straight onto your bench without placiing it on a Basic Pokemon.
