Who's better of these two who had the first episode about them starting their journey. So, I want to know how's better, May or Dawn ? That, my friend, is up to you

dawn's noobishness gets on my nerves a lot. may annoyed me too though sometimes, i dont think i can say who's better until the end of dp. May's father was a gym leader, so she at least had some knowledge and experience; dawn's just a random person who randomly decided to join ash and brock after giving back pikachu. I also dont really like the contest episodes, they bore me.
I'm with EM. We already had to deal with ash's noob mistakes (and still do

I don't like Misty anymore, I never really did, don't talk about here, ONLY talk about the two in the question: May and Dawn !!
I think may is better but dawn is still new so she has a lot to learn

not afraid of Pokemon
Had good idea of attacks and strategy
still mad noobish mistakes
made friends pretty quickly with the pokes
but sadly didn't catch one useful pokemon
no contest skill

May gets a 6/10
Dawn gets a 5/10

May... D/P is nothing compared to the Advanced Generation. I don't bother watching the show anymore, Dawn ruined everything...
But, I was anti-May when she came out. I'll get used to Dawn.
Also, Dawn is a noob, and that's precisely the only thing I see as a plus. In Pokemon, it's much better to be a noob than an experienced Trainer, I mean how else could Ash and his Pikachu have pulled through?

I like May because she was that fiery person like Misty, would always try to do better, now for Dawn, her voice is the only thing I don't like, she has the potential to be a great Coordinator

Well, since misty can't be voted for, i'll have to go with niether(for now)
May: By the end of the season, i thought she was OK, but i never really liked her.
