Mega Kangaskhan EX to be Obsolete?

Kangaskhan EX and Mega Kangaskhan EX have found a niche in some fairy decks, but with the upcoming
Gardevoir-EX - Fairy - HP170
Basic Pokemon
[Y] Life Reeve: 20 damage. Heal this Pokemon equal to the damage done to your opponent's Active Pokemon.
[Y][Y][Y] Shining Wind: 100 damage. This Pokemon has no Weakness during your opponent's next turn.
When a Pokemon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.
Weakness: Metal (x2)
Resistance: Darkness (-20)
Retreat: 2
And
M Gardevoir-EX - Fairy - HP210
Mega Evolution - Evolves from Gardevoir-EX
When 1 of your Pokemon becomes a Mega Evolution, your turn ends.
[Y][C][C] Brilliant Arrow: Does 30 damage for each Fairy Energy attached to your Pokemon.
When a Pokemon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.
Weakness: Metal (x2)
Resistance: Darkness (-20)
Retreat: 2
The fighting weakness doesn't help Mega Kangaskhan's playability. Will Mega Kangaskhan EX be obsolete?

Maybe.

As long as Donphan and Landorus-EX are in the format, I'd say Mega Gardevoir is a better option, despite the lower HP.

Once Donphan and Landorus-EX rotate out next season, my bet is that the only Fighting Type decks that will be heavily played will be Primal Groudon (which pretty much Knocks Out both of them anyway with Strong Energy boosts) and Machamp variants that use either Lucario-EX or Ancient Medicham.

Mega Gardevoir does have that nasty Metal Weakness, though, and since Metal Decks really won't lose anything from the rotation (aside from Keldeo-EX), Metal Type variants will stay strong for the entire next few years.

Even a Phantom Forces-on format wouldn't harm too much of their attacking line, since they really only use Dialga-EX, Aegislash-EX, and Heatran.

I think that for 2014-15, M Gardevoir is the better choice. More damage, Dark Resistance, Spirit Link, and no Fighting Weakness.

Combustion Blast Charizard could always be added as a tech against the steel weakness, but even then it'd be just be setting up a future knockout since it won't be hitting for high numbers. Mega Diancie could be an option, but Gardevoir-EX would be able to do the same thing.

I noticed that M Gardevoir does more damage for all of you fairy energy in play. So you don't need the energies attached to M Gardevoir, just to your Pokemon.

I agree M Gardevoir is better since I feel that M Kangaskhan was put in just to have some main EX attacker and since Xerneas didn't do enough, Kangaskhan was the choice.

Also, if metal becomes insanely popular, you could run a 1-1-1 or a 2-2-2 line of Leavanny LGT.

Weakness policy is another considerable alternative. It doesn't sacrifice the same degree of consistency that adding in a Stage 2 line does for just one matchup. That said, it's also less robust, and conflicts with the obvious Spirit Links.

I would imagine teching in any Fire type attacker would probably be the better solution. Stoke Charizard-EX seems like a fairly robust option, as it only needs one rainbow to power up, and has a good secondary option should you start with it. 3 Energy out of the deck that can then be moved off seems pretty solid, even if it's on a coin flip.

The flip is risky and you could get nothing for an attack, adding trick coin would take up space. Tool Retriever and Weakness Policy and Spirit Links seem like a better option.

you could always use tool retriever to swap the spirit link to weakness policy

M-Gardevoir will make straight Fairy decks far more viable. An attack that doesn't involve coin flips, as well as a Spirit Link means that it can be reliably brought out by turn two and hit for a lot of damage. M-Kangaskhan's only advantage is the 20 extra HP, which prevents G-Booster + Deoxys from kOing it, which can happen to M-Gardevoir. Still, I think it's going to be the better play for straight Fairy builds. Kanga willl likely continue to see play in toolbox / Rainbow Energy builts however, as its 230 HP does a better job countering specific matchups (namely VirGen). Still, the Fighting weakness is a problem right now, and Colorless typing means it won't be attacking anything for weakness itself.
