I think
Garbodor is a better fit than
Zoroark. Reason: You are going to be more dependent on
M-ScizorEX than you are
ScizorEX. I see the appeal and the synergy of being able to retreat into
ScizorEX every turn and activate the additional 60 damage on Gale Thrust but attacking for 120 guaranteed is more gratifying and also results in energy or stadium removal. I played the version with
Zoroark for a few weeks and I liked it a lot. One thing you may want to consider is
Max Elixir. You will want to set up your
ScizorEX for an attack on your first turn (going second) and you definitely want Gale Thrust to do 110 damage;
Max Elixir can make that possible.
Like I said before, I prefer
Garbodor. Its ability allows you to get around
GiratinaEX's ability and be able to remove
Double Dragon Energy (which makes your Iron Crusher attack feel a little overpowered). It also stops
Klefki's Wonder Lock. And it doesn't hurt to stop every other ability
Garbotoxin is easy to set up with your float stones or even extra
Scizor Spirit Links.
I would also consider replacing a
ShayminEX with a
Cobalion. Since you have
HoopaEX, you plan on having a full bench of
ScizorEX ready to strike at a moment's notice. You should only need 1
ShayminEX (prizes allowing).
Cobalion is a great late game attacker. It can deal 30 damage at the beginning of the game and once they have 2 prizes left
Cobalion is dealing 150 damage ,which is more than your
ScizorEX's can ever do. It is also allows you to set up a situation where a
Lysandre is needed in order to get the 2 prizes.
Some more considerations:
Switch and
Escape Rope. Both of these Items are really useful with Gale Thrust.
I am adamant about these changes. Since I made my last edit I have won 8 out of 9 games.
