Ok so I was looking through some card and saw Leavanny from both EP and NV sets and was wondering what you guys thought of this combo if it could work.

4-3-4 Leavanny (EP#3,EP#5,EP#7,EP8x2,NV#3)
2-2-2 Meganium Prime
4 Celebi Prime
2 Victini NV#14

So the idea behind this combo is to get out all Leavanny and Meganium to move energy, Celebi is for energy accellaration, and Victini is for Leavanny's Attacks.

It's a little confusing. I don't think the Meganium is necessary. And why are you using Levanny as an attacker? What makes it better than a more powerful and reliable attacker, such as Magnezone?

Forget Meganium Prime and just focus on swarming Leavanny with the help of Sunflora HGSS. It's unrealiable damage and it's a stage 2 pokemon so it's honestly quite sub-par compared to other pokemon. I would say use Vileplume in place of Meganium Prime as the trainer lock aspect will stop Reshiram from dropping Plus Power and OHKO'ing Leavanny regardless of the lack {R} weakness plus it stops Catcher which is always a plus. Though you won't be free to play Plus Power or Rugged Helmet. (both cards this deck could benefit from)

I really like this pair, I thought of it like a week ago, potentially doing 180 damage is extraordinary. And will dominate most stuff in the format. Although it is flippy, fliptini comes in. Forget meganium prime, celebi is one of the only options, because leavanny definitely needs energy acceleration.

That still doesn't mean that the damage output is reliable. Yes, 180 damage is cool, but even with Fliptini, you're not going to always pull off that amount of damage. In theory, 60-120 damage with Leavanny seems more realistic.

This isn't necessarily practical. Two stage 2s that are already slow (even with energy acceleration) along with a somewhat unreliable card like Victini do not make for the greatest consistency. You're going to get swarmed by faster decks like Zekrom, Yanmega variants, and Reshiram vairants, even taking into account the fact that you have no weakness to Reshiram if you get the NV Leavanny out.

nails it. how much is getting rid of weakness going to buy you when you're using an inconsistent attack with bad typing? If you're going to play a deck so slow as to require 2 stage 2's out to function, you need to be gaining something more than a flippy, inefficient attack.

I was going to comment on what to put in/take out, but there's just no real way of making a deck like this work well enough to be competitive. Celebi is the only Grass Pokémon that can accelerate, and honestly it's bad because you need it in the active spot.

Maybe Mew Prime with regular Ampharos for acceleration?
