Pokemon: 20
2 Cleffa HGSS 17
1 Pachirisu
4-1-4 Magnezone prime
4-4 Yanmega prime

Trainers: 28
4 Pokemon Collector HGSS 97
4 Pokemon Communication HGSS 98
2 Sage's Training
4 Rare Candy UL 82
4 Judge UL 78
4 Junk Arm TR 87
2 Switch BW 104
3 Pokemon Catcher EP 95
2 Twins

Energy: 11
2 Rescue Energy
9 {L}

Strategy: This is your basic megazone. Yanmega is for cheap easy prizes while you build up Magnzone on the bench. Kingdra and Jirachi are for some suprise ko's via spray splash and devolving. Please post your advice below. Thanks

Basic stuff... Needs 4 Pokemon Collecor and 4 Pokemon Communication. 10 energy isn't enough - it needs closer to 11 or even 12. I don't really like Copycat in the deck... I'd try Sage's Training over it.

Ultimately, I think Kingdra is too space-consuming to be worth its spot in the deck. Dropping it would let you put in the 4th Collector, 4th Communication, 4th Magnezone Prime, an extra energy and either a 4th Catcher or extra draw supporter.

Also, I'd try running 9 Lightning and 2 Rescue for your energy line. Drop Jirachi for a Pachirisu.

I'll do that. I have no expierence when it comes to megazone so I'll take any and all (good) advice. W/out Kingdra, should I take out a Jirachi and add a pachi?

Yeah I edited my post to say that.

If you really like Copycat, a 3/1 Judge/Copycat split works just as well as 4 Judge. Also, I almost like a 2nd Cleffa in the deck but I haven't tested that idea a lot.

Oh whoops I totally missed you don't have Twins. Twins is amazing in here.

-1 Lightning
-1 Magneton

+2 Twins

Ok, I'll try to get some playtesting in. Thanks for all your help, this deck would be terrible without you! :D

Haha you're welcome. :)

I have a good amount of trouble setting up without Cleffa a lot of the time, but I think the draw supporters are just dead weight after you are setup.

If you add Twins, you can also consider adding 1 PlusPower as a pesudo-Kingdra. It can really mess with an opponent's math after you play Pachirisu and you can Junk Arm for it.

Another 1-2 -of to consider is Pokegear, but I have no idea how to make room for it in this deck.

If I add twins, how much is a good amount? Concerning pokegear, MAYBE drop a supporter for it?

I'd probably hold off on Pokegear for now. 2-3 Twins is a good amount, I tend to favor 2 since in an ideal situation this is still an offensive-based deck.

Is taking out the sage's for them good?

Definitely not. They're key for setting up. Like I said before, try dropping a Lightning and a Magneton.

k, I'll try that. Also, how crucial is that 4th Magnezone? I'm thinking of dropping the line down to 4-1-3 to add a pluspower and help my budget.

The 4th Magnezone is incredibly crucial. You want a T2 Magnezone as often as possible, and in a shuffle-draw format, anything that helps you hit Rare Candy + Magnezone is a good card to put in.

Alright, 4 magnezone it is. I was thinking maybe adding another magneton, but I think one is enough with lots of drawpower and four candies. Every card is so crucial, so I don't know what to take out for that single pluspower...

I would suggest...

-1 Cleffa: I don't really see why you would need more than one.
+1 Magneton: A 4-2-4 Magnezone line seems a little more solid and I can just imagine losing to Gothitelle because you couldn't get enough Magnezones our because you only play 1 Magneton.

Whether you want another Magnezone or not I would say take out the Cleffa for something because I don't see a use for 2. Hope I helped.

Well it's somewhat easier for you to get out Magnezone than for them to get out Gothitelle. So you should usually get 1 out before they lock Rare Candy. In general, 1 Magneton is enough for that matchup.

1 or 2 Cleffa is fine - it runs alright either way, but having the second is great for not prizing the first.

Is magneboar a better deck? I want to know if one is better before I blow $100 on the rest of the yanmega's I need. Thanks

They're both viable. MegaZone is better if there's a lot of trainer lock in your area, whereas Magneboar is better if there's a lot of Reshiram and Zekrom.

Cleffa is better than Manaphy just because it doesn't need an energy.

I don't see much trainer lock in my area, so I'll probs go with magneboar (it won worlds). I'll keep this deck though, in case I hate magneboar or something. I just really like magnezone for some reason. Magneboar will help my budget though. :p
