Metagame Strikers​

This Redshark clan is based on focusing the best of metagame decks (or metagame counters), and pounding the rest of people on Hamachi with them. We will have discussions throughout this thread on specific games and how each deck has a good/bad matchup with others. Participation is required if you plan to be in a clan. Join, and become a more formidable TCG Player.

Getting Recruited:
My standards of joining are very simple. Ask me for a Redshark Battle, and try to last more than nine turns. That's all you need to do: Last ten turns (or win) and you get in. A network is desinged for try-outs:

Rules:
-NO Fighting
-NO Cheating
-Be respectful to all your opponents. I will not even hesitate to kick someone out for bad sportsmanship.
-If you are in this clan, you MUST have a Clan Tag in your username.
-ALL Ranks must sport your Rank Tag.
-Recruiting happens by battling.
-All decisions go to the Owner.
-No Clan Hopping.

With the coming of the new set: Rising Rivals, I would like for you to test with another clan member with proxy decks centered around this new set and then PM (or post) me the result of the match. I also want you to PM me the log of the game, so we all can look at the match for an idea of how the matchup is. Test them as much as you like. The more results, the better.

You have to find either Zyflair and I think me or Lunar Wing as well on Hamachi. Then you last eight turns vs. one of us in a modified Redshark game with standard rules. If you win before that, it's also good.

Zyflair, Falcom4Ever passed the challenge vs. me if I can take challenges. As usual, should I have gone second, I would have won.

Alright guys! Since no more new members have joined in a while, I say it's time to get started!

Analysis #1 Speedrill vs Gallade 4
* Log of two games of this macthup are attached to this post. Result: 2-0

Celebi23's version of Speedrill is not doubt the fastest one built yet, most likely because Rising Rival's Beedrill was not yet released (yeah, I just have to state the obvious). The constant use of PokeDrawer +, BTS, and Rare Candy, definitely helps the swarm of Beedrill and since Celebi can "use da powah" every turn, it's not hard to smash 120 damage by T3, or even T2.

Lenny has a classic version of Gallade 4 spread. With the further use of Crobat G and Honchkrow G (which was not used in this game), death by spread is easy to occur. After your opponent's have 50-70 damage all around, Honchkrow G can sweep with a mere Energy Gain and a simple energy card.

However, in the matchup between the two, whether Celebi23 is a lucksac or not, Beedrill's constant 120 damage plus a few Pluspowers makes an easy OHKO on any SP Pokemon. Lenny was eventually overtaken by the swarm and thus we declare the matchup:
