Hi, all.

I'm not sure if this has been previously discussed or happens to be common knowledge, but what is the ruling on Metagross GX's attack Giga Hammer? Say if you used said attack, then during your next turn you retreated the same Metagross, but then used Guzma to get the same Metagross back into the active position. Does that refresh the attack in a sense?

Thanks! :D

Correct, it does refresh the attack. Being unable to attack counts as a "status." Hitting the bench removes all statuses like Poison, Burn, Confusion, and even attack statuses like these.

This is the main strategy for decks like Ho-Oh GX and Volcanion EX who also have a "can't use this attack again next turn" restriction. If you touch the bench you're back to a clean slate.

That's great news! Glad this has been confirmed. Thank you very much! :D
