So I'm new to the game and I don't have that much experience with deck building just yet, so i was wondering if anyone could help me out with my deck and give me some tips and pointers.

Metagross acts as my main attacker with Mawile and Umbreon Acting as defenders.

So what if we addes a steelix prime or a tyranitar prime and adjusted tthe deck some?toss in some techs and rare candys
 
that sounds good, we will have to talk more about how much that will cost me and where i will obtain these said cards
 
I guess it's try to get Metagross out as soon as possible, because he acts as my main attacker. However its still a good idea to have at least one of my Umbreons out as well. If metagross gets poisoned or anything i try to make sure i have a pokemon switch in my hand and put Metagross on the bench and either mawile or Umbreon in the attack position. Metagross can dish out 200 damage if I do it right
 
This looks like a theme deck w/ a few changes. Meh. Mawile isn't really a Defender.And yah, one more thing: If you don't have metal energies, you CAN"T(i repeat,CAN'T) attack w/ Metagross. Focus on Metagross as the main attacker, then use Umbreon UD as a tech(stall). And Metagross SV is better,try it w/ a cool Water type, however right now I can't think of anything that actually works w/ it. Scizor Prime might even help. Who you choose is completely up to you, because the point of a deck is a standard deck with your own little touch to it, making it YOUR DECK, one that you can play with. Oh, and you cannot have more than 4 Special Dark Energies in a deck, 4 is the most, as for basic dark, yoou can have as many as you want, but 11 Dark is a little much. Hope I helped.

whoops just saw the 11 metal. So you are playing 7 Dark? That DEFINITELY sounds like a theme deck.
 
please make sure you add the abbreviation for which set the pokemon cards come from. There are 3 Metagross in the current format; two of which are {M} and 1 is {P}.

There are also 2 Aggron in thew current format. Make sure you state which one.

Which Dodrio is it? Supreme Victors or Undaunted? Which Sableye? Stormfront or Undaunted?

Also, this deck looks all over the place. Try putting in some Special Metal energy and special dark energy. You didn't state how many metagross in your deck, so I'm assuming you only have one. having only one of the final evolution in a deck is not good. These are what we call 'pyramid lines' which basically means more of the first and second evolutions, and only one of the final. Make sure you at least have 2 of the final evolutions of your main attacker.
