I know that's out of the format but can you explain me about its Poke-Body.
Example: Infernape's Lv.X Flare Up do I need to have 8 fire energy in my discard pile??
I know this question looks kinda dummy but can you answer me?:p
 
You have to do everything the attack requires, so also the 8 energy in the discard.
 
Treat it as if you'd copy paste the attack except for the fact that if it self-references (ie energies attached to Infernape) this obviously counts as Mew ex instead as it's the one using the attack. Just think clearly and apply common sense and it shouldn't get too technical.
