Hi, I need two rulings on if these work or not, here's the situation (ALL CARD PICTURES ATTACHED):
1) MewEx (w/ Versatile Ability) in active w/3 [R] energy attached
2) Played Steam Up ability on VolcanionEX
3) MewEX uses benched Volcanion's Power Heater attack

The questions I have is:
1) When using Power Heater with Mew's Versatile Ability, what will the typing of the attack be? [R] OR [P]
IF Q1 is [R] then... \/
2) Will the attack from the Versatile Ability benefit from the Steam Up Ability from VolcanionEX?

1) Attacks don't have types. The type is the pokémon itself is the only thing that has effect.
2) No, steam up only power ups Fire basic pokémon.
