Why did Satoshi Tajiri ignore it? Wasn't Mew supposed to have some kind of connection with the creation of the Pokemon Universe besides Arceus, Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf?

Were the 3 pixies just Mew split into 3 different Pokemon? One based on Willpower, Knowledge, and the other Emotion? There's rumors that Darkrai is basically the evil version of Arceus, that they're brothers who hate eachother for some reason.

Giratina, Palkia, and Dialga are basically Arceus split into 3 different forms: Time, Space, and Darkness.

No, Mew is the ancestor of all Pokemon, it has nothing to do with the creation of the universe. It only contains the DNA of every single Pokemon species, hence it can learn almost every single move.

Again no, the Lake Trio are born from the same egg according to Azelf's Pokedex entrie, and thus it's impossible to come from Mew. There's rumors that Darkrai is basically the evil version of Arceus, that they're brothers who hate eachother for some reason. And again no... Darkrai is the opposite of Cresselia, one representing Nightmares, the other good dreams (Also, full Moon and half Moon).

You can even clearly see them battle all together in the last movie. Arceus created the Dragon Trio and it is said they're born from an egg, like seen in the event in HGSS.

If Mew is the ancestor of all Pokemon, explain Arceus. Arceus created Mew thus would Arceus not be an ancestor of Mew? Being the Alpha Pokemon it's probably the only Pokemon that's not an ancestor to Mew.

However Arceus is a legendary, and Mew contains DNA of all Pokemon, however does a legendary have DNA? (Well Deoxys is known as the DNA Pokemon...) But they don't breed, so DNA is not necessary (although Arceus again is born from an egg...)

Anyway, it is at least the ancestor of all moves, that for sure. Further we can only speculate, but who knows we'll be ever right.

Giratina's role is to act as the balance to Dialga and Palkia - it balances time and space (and the real world) through the Distortion World, which only it rules over... It's not some controller of death or the afterlife or darkness, like fans speculated before we knew what it actually did. Just wanted to say that. xP

Anyways, I believe Mew is the ancestor of most Pokémon. Nowhere does it say Mew is 100% confirmed to be the ancestor of all Pokémon (artifical Pokémon such as Porygon, and the six Pokémon born from Arceus as well as Arceus are probably not in its DNA)- it is simply said that "scientists believe it is" or "people began research to see if it is", or that it's "said to posses the genetic composition of all Pokémon." Of course, all of the data about Arceus and its role as a creator comes from myths, but I believe that most myths about Legendary Pokémon are true, as proven by the movies or their actions in the games.

As for why Tajiri would have Mew made and then bring Arceus into the picture without explaining it, I've no idea. Maybe one day we'll get an explanation on all of it, so we can finally put this to rest. Or maybe he'd just like to leave that up to the fans to decide.

One based on Willpower, Knowledge, and the other Emotion? No, that is Sinnoh There's rumors that Darkrai is basically the evil version of Arceus, that they're brothers who hate eachother for some reason. It's more seemly that Giratina/Heatran is evil

Giratina, Palkia, and Dialga are basically Arceus split into 3 different forms: Time, Space, and Darkness. No, Arceus made them and that is what they will be. They are guardians of it just like the pixies are
