Ruling Milotic FLF and Prizes

Hey I was wondering something about FLF Milotic

Milotic:

Its Energy Grace ability says you knock it out and attach 3 basic energy to one of your Pokemon. Does the opponent still take a prize card even though you chose to use an ability to KO Milotic?

He will still give out a prize card since it is a knock out. Much like Dusknoir's ability, in which you can knock out your own pokemon by using abilities.
