Mind games and bluffing

My friend was telling me about the mind games he plays with people. He says that his face is always blank, and goes through his hand very fast. What other mind games have you heard about?
 
I have seen people play down their hands to a small number of cards, with the intention of making it seem like they still had a supporter for next turn (if they had already played one) so they'd get N'd out of their useless small hand.

I have also once been tricked by a player going out of their way to avoid showing a card in their deck (in this case, DCE), causing me to later misplay and lose.
 
When I used to Play, I would always say things to get in there head. Or fake that I am loosing, I guess most these days are are of it all.
 
After an N to 6, sometimes I have a bad hand. If I have any ultra balls or anything to use up my hand I don't use it unless absolutely needed. If my opponent thinks I have a good enough hand to not use up stuff from it then maybe they will N me back...
 
I used to play Yugioh and there were tons of mindgames at work.

In Pokemon, I can see some of them still working. For example, the "Wow. This is such a good hand." when you have a terrible hand in hopes of your opponent using N to get rid of your "good" hand. Ha ha.
 
Is that intentionally deceiving your opponent though? I.e is it in the rules that you cannot do that?
