Discussion Minimum Number of Energies for Firey Torch?

As the title asks, in a fire based deck that uses blacksmith what is the minimum number of basic fire energy you should have in a deck to be able to use Firy Torch consistently? And before ieveryone goes off on how there is better draw cards i know about trainer mail, acro bike ect. Im looking for the optinum number of every needed to use Firey Torch effectively. Thanks.

It is going to depend on what the rest of the deck looks like in terms of search power and draw power. If you are using Professor Letter to get energies you could probably get by with 8. This gets you a fairly good chance of starting with at least 1 fire energy or way to get fire energy in your opening hand while not completing clogging up your list. You may wish to increase this number if it is the only type of energy you are running.
