In Japan, Miriam’s card still demands one of the heaviest “waifu taxes.” The same will likely apply to the English card.
Scarlet & Violet will release on March 31st. It will be based on Japan’s Scarlet ex, Violet ex, and its three “ex Starter Decks.”

I really wish they’d do a box opening or something soon, as much as I love to see these cards in English and seeing this era’s new RH pattern I’d feel more comfortable knowing that TPCi plans to keep their word on providing “a positive experience and value” when it comes to opening packs.

And I’m being serious here, the changes made to Illustration Rares in terms of set structure and many rumors swirling around on social media potentially confirming a worst case scenario isn’t exactly filling me with hope.

It's the whole "3 holos per pack" thing basically amounting TPCi not giving more thorough details. The first holo slot is a guaranteed holo rare or higher, the second one is a reverse-holo with a chance of being bumped up to being a holo rare or higher, and the third one is the usual guaranteed reverse-holo slot we've had for years.

That's the thing we're still not sure about. Since all the artsy cards are now secret rares instead of a separate subset, I feel like the mechanic might be more similar to cosmic eclipse

All just speculations.. unless someone who has already opened the set shares early, we can only wait and see
