Help Misterious golden cards

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the world of Pokémon cards and recently stumbled upon a last pack of cards at a local kiosk, which I couldn't resist buying. I must admit, I've never been much into trading cards before, so this is all quite new and exciting for me.

In the pack, I found several beautiful golden VMAX cards that I haven't been able to find much information on. One card, in particular, a golden Pikachu VMAX (051/203), seems especially rare as I haven't found any similar listings online.

Here are the details of the cards:

  1. Pikachu VMAX (051/203) - Golden, mint condition
  2. Charizard VSTAR (018/152) - Golden, mint condition
  3. Inteleon VMAX (079/264) - Golden, mint condition
  4. Charizard VSTAR (019/159) - Golden, mint condition
  5. Umbreon VMAX (095/203) - Golden, mint condition
  6. Hisuian Goodra VMAX (136/196) - Golden, mint condition
  7. Regigigas VSTAR (114/159) - Golden, mint condition
  8. Hatterene VMAX(066/159) - Golden, mint condition
  9. Arceus VSTAR (123/172)- Golden, mint condition
  10. Darkrai VSTAR (099/189) - Golden, mint condition
I'm hoping to get some help from the experts here to understand the value of these cards. Any insights, resources, or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much for your time and assistance!

Unfortunately, all of these golden cards are very clearly fakes.

One telltale sign is the HP of Pikachu, Regigigas, and Hatterene. HP on Pokemon cards is always in the tens, so never something like 756 or 235, and the current cap for HP seems to be around 350, so the 540 HP is simply way too high.

Another telltale sign is that the Pikachu doesn't have any attacks or abilities. You can also see it evolves from Jolteon rather than Pikachu, and both VMAX and VSTAR cards always evolve from the same Pokemon (so Pikachu V to Pikachu VMAX, or Charizard V to Charizard VSTAR). You can even see that the "base" of the cards is Jolteon VMAX which has the 051/203 numbering left on the card.

You can find every English version of cards with said names below, and you can see that even the cards that do have golden versions do not look the way the ones you bought do.

Pikachu VMAX
Hisuian Goodra VSTAR
Regigigas VSTAR
Hatterene VMAX
Arceus VSTAR
Charizard VSTAR
Umbreon VMAX
Inteleon VMAX
Darkrai VSTAR
