Most Beneficial Set

So me and my friend are planning to split a booster box and I wanted to know what you guys think would be the most beneficial set for us.

My deck is Blastoise/BKEX (Only need a couple staples and the 3 BKEX)
And his deck is going to be T/D/K (He has barely anything towards the deck)

What I'm looking for is either useful staples and supporters or expensive trade bait.

My first thought was was Boundaries crossed because of the plentiful supporters but other than that it doesn't really offer anything to either of us.

So is Plasma Blast the best choice? It has a good amount of useful reprinted staples and some expensive EXs (For now)

Ohhhh yeah it is. You need to go Plasma Blast. Not only does it have Catcher and Ultra Ball, but the sweet EXs as well. Keep what you want, sell the rest, swag.
 
Plasma Blast has all around useful and fun cards to mess around with. Useful Trainers, and some reprints.
And expensive-ish EXes.

Your friend can wait for the Deoxys EX Tins coming out in I believe September. That way he can easily get them for his Deck, or just buy the singles of the promo on like EBay once they're out.
 
Yeah, wait on those Deoxys tins for sure. You'd be able to get 'em for like 8-10 dollars a pop, (personal estimate), at that point, so...yeah.
