This should answer your question sufficiently. Honchkrow provides your Murkswarm with his attack, but none of his other benefits. (if any)

Q. If I play Honchkrow LV.X on top of Honchkrow with the "Dark Genes" Poke-BODY, does that allow my Murkrow to use the attacks of Honchkrow LV.X as well?
A. Yes, it does. Honchkrow LV.X is still the same Honchkrow after all, and it has the Attacks & Powers of both Honchkrow cards.
