Musharna (HG-SS on)

Is this a good deck for the new rotation?

Sup, this deck is alot of fun I've play tested it about 2 days ago and my friend said I should try it for the metagame. Thanks to all who posted in the Player's sandbox about this combo.

Pokemon: 18
3-3 Musharna
2-2 Hypno HGSS
2-1-2 Metagross (EDITED)
1 Ho-oH Legend Top
1 Ho-oH Legend Bottom
1 Rotom UD (EDITED)

Trainers: 31
4 PONT
4 Prof. Elm
4 Pokemon Communication
2 Pokegear 3.0
1 Flower Shop Lady (EDITED)
2 Pokemon Collector
2 Rare Candy
2 Energy Switch
2 Sage's Training (EDITED)
2 Pokemon Circulator
2 Legend Box
2 Interviewers Questions
2 Juniper (EDITED x2)

Energys: 11
9{P}
2{C}{C}

Strategy:
Quickly work your way up to 1-2 Musharna and at least 1 Hypno. Use Hypno to put opponents pokemon to sleep the same turn so you can use Dream Eater for 90 Damage. Dodrio is for free retreat and Crobat is for sniping weak pokemon and Poisoning the opponents pokemon so that they won't live long. Pokemon Circulator is for pulling in weak asleep pokemon that I can KO for a prize. Energy switch is so I can move energys around my Crobat and Musharna's so that they can attack. Pokegear is for finding things like PONT or Prof. Elm or Flower Shop Lady. Only Musharna and Crobat need energy and they don't need more than 1 or 2. This deck is to disrupt opponents hand and Pokemon so they'll have to send out weak or not ready pokemon for safety. Also, I know Hypno isn't a for sure Asleep power but 20 damage for one turn is ok if Musharna needs to put the pokemon to sleep and makes the opponent even weaker. Ruins of Alph is so Pokemon Scizor don't have reduced damage. Ho-oH is to take out Steelix Prime without needing a different energy and I teched in a {C}{C} just for the senario.

Thanks for your Input

The Crobat is iffy because you have to poison , wait, and then retreat and by that time send up a decoy to die. Pokemon Catcher is coming out I believe next season, so use that instead of Circulator.

Personally I will get rid of 2 PONT and 2 energy switch. And replace them for Rotom and Alpha Lithograph the one that lets you see your prizes. What you have to realize now running 1-1 lines or 2-1-2 lines will be really hard without Azelf. Also what the that combo does of course the alpha lets you look at of your prizes and the rotom also you to switch one prize card with the card from the top of your deck. I also would suggest junk arms and professor junipers.

Ok I'm open to the energy switch put not PONT and the way I use Crobat is to send up to snipe asleep weak or just weak or, poison asleep pokemon so they have to retreat and send up another asleep pokemon so that I can retreat Crobat for no energy and hit heavy with Musharna. Also I don't like Junipers or Junk Arm because it means I have to discard.

Its your deck do what you feel but they will speed your deck up so much. And you only need PONT maybe once or twice not for times.

lol I love the steelix hate. I would say minus the "2-1-2 Crobat Prime" and add the metagross from unleashed 2-1-2. metagross basically skill dives 2 pokemon. you might say, it takes 3!!! psychic energies, but youre playing a metang that attatches 2 psychic energies from the discard pile to any pokemon. (namingly ho oh)and then the metagross makes everyone retreat for free. it has the same hp as crobat too. -1 flowershop lady, -1 professor elm, - 1dodrio -1 doduo -2 ruins of alph (scizor and steelix get ohko'd anyway by ho-oh) then +2 juniper, +3 sages training +rotom undaunted +1. you would actually be using the metang to attatch more energies. then if its gonna die, just evolve it and retreat it if necessary, or start double leg hammering things while the active pokemon sleeps. ( i only prefer metagross to crobat cuz it puts 40 dmg on 2 things as opposed to crobat and he gets rid of the need for dodrio thus opening 2 spaces in the deck, besides what if dodrio gets prized? you have no way of getting to it.

you do realize that once a pokemon is sent back to the bench, it is no longer asleep right?

you may want to rethink the whole crobat idea, it serves little use in my opinion. maybe noctowl for draw or zoroark as a counter, and possibly another hypno line.
