Okay, so after an average performance in last weeks city event, I decided to modify my charizard list with MANY changes. I made it more supporter heavy this time to help against Gengar Vileplume. I also put in 4 spiritomb for set up.
Round 1: Charizard VS Mew Prime
I didnt get a tomb start and took forever to set up. After they took 3 prizes with Absol Prime, we discovered his deck was missing 3 cards. At first it looked like it would be a game loss for him, but instead it was just a prize penalty. Oh well. As it turns out, that turn was also the turn I made my come back. I finally got my charizard out and KO his belted Absol Prime. Now that I was finally rolling, I crushed the rest of his pokemon and won.

Round 2: Charizard VS VileGar
My dreaded match. Only second to Gyarados is scariness. lol
We both open with Tomb and begin to set up. I actually manage to get Ninetales and Bronzong out quickly. Charizard was a little too slow this time, but I keep up and score the first KO on his Gengar with Fire Wing. As luck would have it, he gets heads on Fainting Spell. (fml)
Instead of trying for another Charizard next, I go for Typhlosion prime as the attacker. He was using Rescue energy so it sounded logical. Typhlosioin KO's a second Gengar and discard its rescue energy (yay) but he gets heads again on fainting spell. (FML!) It kind of ran downhill from there for me. After the match, he agreed with me that I definately could have won if not for fainting spell working both times.

Round 3: Charizard VS Deoxys
For round 3 I get paired down to another player who was 0-2. Why me?
It was an odd deck using the LA Deoxys. I had 3 free turns to set up with Tomb and I just power through her for an easy win.

Round 4: Charizard VS Ursaring Prime/Ttar Prime
I got paired down again....
I remembered this person from a previous event. It's easy to combat his ursaring with Typhlosion as I can discard their DCE. I get set up with Tomb quickly and he just sends up weak pokemon for slaughter while he stall for something. (Never told me what) It wasnt until I had my last prize card remaining that he FINALLY brings up Ursaring Prime and hits me for a belted 140. He miscounted the damage and thus I remain alive with 10 HP. lol
I burning tail for 130 and the KO.

Round 5: Charizard VS Sablelock (I think)
I think he was playing Sablelock as he had sableye in it. He opens with a murkrow only and I a tomb. I get 2 turns for setting up, and on that second turn I realize I can get my Charizard out and possibley KO for game now. After doing my move i come up 10 damage short. (Dang)
A couple turns later he has a sableye active, Blaziken FB on bench as well as a Leveled up Garchomp C with DCE and Egain attached. I seeker and he picks up Blaze FB obviously, but then I warp him. Bring up Charizard and Buring Tail for KO. Very nice KO on my part. I almost 6-0 him but he stalls me out for a few turns by Luring Flame'ing my Bronzong.

Round 6: Charizard VS Machamp
This is an easy match for me as they must rely on 3+ head with Hurricane Punch or the Lv X to really do any harm. However, I fail to start with Tomb and she gets a T1 Champ and starts using Take Out for 4 prize cards in a row. I FINALLY get something going by top decking a Twins. I manage to actually then take 3 prize cards. But she clinches the match. Not starting with Tomb made the difference this time around. (She played 4+ trainers T1!)

After all was said and done, everyone thought for sure I would make it to top 8 and be in the finals. The only person to go 6-0 was the person I played in round 6. Therefore even losing to her, my resistance from that would still be ok. However, I ended up placing 13th out of 37. Not too bad though. I blame it on the fact that I got paired down twice so my resistance was horrible.
