So I made my first deck and it's probably not the best.. but here it is...

Pokemon:
Sammorott: 4-3-4

feraligatr Prime: 2-1-2

Cleffa: 1

Mantine: 1

Dodrio: 1-1

Total: 20

Black belt: x1

Rare candy x4

Pokemon communication x3

Professor Oak's New Theory x4

Twins x2

Pokemon collector x4

Total: 18

energy:
water: x10
double colorless energy: x12

total: 60

strategy: get 2 sammorotts and rest one of them... your main is feraligatr so keep that in mind. if you draw a cleffa first put it in battle so you can get the rest of your cards that you will need. when you have them all. have samorott lower there hp then make him retreat and have feraligatr K.O. them.
since you have dodrio you can have samorott retreat for free. but you have to pay 1 energy for feraligatr.

i haven't tried this method since i don't have any of the Pokemon (which i will buy if this strategy is good)

RE: my first deck: fraligtr

I don't think you need 4 black belt. 1, if any. Next, 3 cleffa and 2 mantine is overkill. I'd go 1 or each. Finally, cut the dodrio down to 1-1. It doesn't look as if it's too important.
ps feraligatr is the correct spelling.

RE: my first deck: fraligtr

A few DCEs would help Samurott a lot, but I agree with what ^ said. Also, do you mean Professor Oak's New Theory?

RE: my first deck: fraligtr

^yeah sorry :p im kinda new to pokemon tcg....^

RE: my first deck: fraligtr

3 Cleffa is too many, 1 is all you'll ever need in any deck. Once you've played a bit you'll understand that it will just be a free prize for your opponent past the early stage of the game. Dodrio can easily be changed to Switch as this deck isn't realiant on getting Samurott back to the bench for any important reason, unlike Chandelure and Haxorus. No deck will ever need 4 Black Belt, maybe one just incase you've fallen behind and you need that sure OHKO on your opponents defending pokemon, but once you're ahead in terms of prizes it will just be dead weight in your deck. I would suggest changing up the deck to look something like this

3-2-3 Samurott
3-2-2 Feraligatr Prime
2 Mantine HGSS
1 Cleffa HGSS

4 Pokemon Collector
4 Pokemon Communication (maxing this is is required for running 2 Stage 2 pokemon lines)
4 Rare Candy
4 Sage's Training (Helps draw into the deck to get key cards)
4 Prof Oak's New Theory
2 Twins

10 {W}
4 Double Colorless Energy (Helps suplement Samurotts Hydro Pump for quicker use)

This would now leave you with 8 spaces open for whatever you want to add that ou feel may help you either speed up your deck or take easier prizes or just increae the overall consistency of the deck. Some suggestions as to what to use:

Plus Power (Helps Samurott deal 10 extra damage for one turn which can help achieve OHKO's on pokemon)
Junk Arm (Helps to reuse trainers. It's pretty much a staple card in all decks due to its flexibility)
Energy Retrieval/Fiherman (These help to bring basic energy from your discard pile back into your hand for Rain Dance)
Pokemon Catcher (Drags forward pokemon from your opponents bench to the active spot for easy KOs or for stalling)

Those are just a few. Look at the scans of all the sets released after HGSS to look at all the cards you have the ability to utilise.

12 DCE? You can't use more than 4 in a Deck. And it's Samurott not Sammorott. Also, DCE is not needed. You're using Feraligatr. Just use lots of Water Energies. Samurott's Hydro Pump has endless power with Water Energies. DCE doesn't count toward Hydro Pump. Oh and don't even try using this Deck against a Mewtwo EX Deck. It'll get stomped on.
