After my Durant Mill deck bombed out, I looked at google' Deck and it looked interesting, so I'm going to try a little variance on it.
2-2 Donphan Prime HS
3-2-2 Reuniclus BW
3-1-2 Vileplume UD
2 Zekrom BW
1-1 Blissey Prime HS
1-1 SEL UL
2 Pichu HS
1 Cleffa HS
1 Kyurem NV

3 Pokemon Collector
4 Twins
3 Cheren
1 Copycat
3 N
3 Pokemon Communication
3 Rare Candy
2 Seeker

1 Fire Energy
2 Fighting Energy
4 Rainbow Energy
4 DCE

Normal Truth strategy. Hopefully start off with Pichu and set up evolutions. Reuniclus for Damage Swap to heal with Blissey or Outrage with Zekrom. Not running Tropical Beach because I can't get one. Vileplume for Item Lock. I don't know what kind of newer cards should go in this deck. Please help, this is the first time I've attempted this deck!

So, you basically just took google's deck, replaced Sage with Cheren, dropped a Gloom for a Kyurem, and added some N in place of Tropical Beach and Oak's.

Since you didn't really change his deck, then yes, it should work. I suggest dropping an N for a Cleffa. At least the 2nd Cleffa attempts to do what Tropical Beach does. N does not replace it.

Also, you have too many damage sponges. At this point, I'd say pick Blissey, Zekrom, OR Kyurem, not all three. Dropping them opens up room for some fun cards like Smoochum (not sure how I feel about this), Indigo Plateau, moar consistency (4th Collector, 4th Communication, 4th Candy, Juniper, etc), a bigger Donphan line, and/or extra energy. I suppose running the Blissey with one dragon, or 2 dragons without Blissey is okay, but three dragons and a Blissey and 2 Seeker is way overkill.

You said this is your first attempt on the deck. If so, don't play it for Cities. It takes hours upon hours of testing not to perfect the decklist, but to understand the deck and not misplay with it. Even the strategy you listed is off-base. You probably won't cut or win with it if you use it before testing at least 100 games.
