I would really love some feedback because I want to start getting competitive. Also I'm 12 so keep in mind I can't buy things like Leles or Shaymins.

Pokemon (10):

x4 Volcanion EX
x3 Volcanion
x1 Hoopa EX
x1 Flareon EX
x1 Turtonator GX

Trainers (35):
x2 Float Stone
x1 Fighting Fury Belt
x2 Choice Band
x1 Energy Reset
x1 Escape Rope
x2 Trainer's Mail
x4 Ultra Ball
x1 Pal Pad
x2 VS Seeker
x1 Professor's Letter
x2 Enhanced Hammer
x4 Switch
x2 Lysandre
x4 Professor Sycamore
x1 Fisherman
x1 Olympia
x1 Pokemon Ranger
x1 Parallel City
x2 Sky Field

Energy (15):
x15 Fire Energy

Honestly Hoopa EX really isn't good unless you're running double Shaymin EX. I'm not a big fan of Sky Field in general right now, in fact I'm really feeling 2/2 Brooklet Hill and Scorched Earth. Scorched Earth can syngerize really well with Baby Volc and Mallow for dual energy acceleration and searching. 15 feels like too many energy. You're going to be digging them up pretty easily, and Starmie is a really good car for getting them back in your hand for Steam Ups.

What's an Expanded Fire deck without Blacksmith? That card is important for getting energy on to your Fire attackers and Turtonator especially needs it. Max out on that as well as the Vs. Seekers. Also add in some Battle Compressors to get Fire energy into the discard for baby Volcanion and Turtonator to accelerate with. Squeezing in a copy or two of Hala isn't a bad idea since you have an early-mid game GX attack in Nitro Tank.

Remove Parallel City since it either weakens your attackers' damage output or limits your much-needed bench space. I don't think you need Energy Reset; I just don't see the purpose for that.

If you can't afford Lele or Shaymin, use Oranguru to save yourself from late-game Ns or for when you burn through your hand too fast. I also don't see any Ns on the list; run 2-3 of them because they're good backup draw supporters.

google did a video on an Expanded Volcanion deck, so look into that too:

Hi! Volcanion was one of the first decks that got me back into the TCG so great choice!

Took a look at the deck and recommended some changes...

- 3x Fire Energy (High chance of bricking, if your worried about losing too much energy play Energy Retrieval)
- 1x Pal Pad (Rotated out, would combo great with Lele though :p )
- 2x Switch ( 4 is too many, Skyla can be used to search it and again with VS Seeker)
- 2x Trainer's Mail
- 1x Enhanced Hammer (Not all decks run special energy, 1 is enough and is targetable by Skyla)

+ 1x Skyla (Great searcher, 1-2 is a nice number)
+ 2x N (For more draw support, 4x Sycamore may not be enough)
+ 1x Vs Seeker
+ 1x Float Stone (In place of ridding 2x Switch, another float stone for retreating and consistency)
+ 2x Energy Switch ( Sets up plays nicely, 2-3 is nice)
+ 2x Energy Retrieval (A must in Volcanion to reuse energy)

Since there's no Max Elixir, I reckon Energy Switch would be a great alternative to setting up one of your attackers turn one (combos great with Volcanion as you attach two to different pokemon).

Have you ever thought of using Scorched Earth as a stadium? It gives draw power and discards energy. Works great with Volcanion decks.

Field blower is another great card to disrupt your opponent and possible swap around the tools you place on your own Pokemon, just another thought.

Just my opinion! But if you feel the changes aren't the best then stick to what you have.

Edited: I thought this was standard so disregard what I said about Pal Pad haha...

Thank you for your reply! I have considered the Brooklet Hill build before, but never scorched earth. I will try it out and see what happens.

Thank you for the feedback! The reasons I don't have blacksmith and have energy reset is because of Kiawe in the next set. Though, as of now I should probably take them out until kiawe releases. Parallel City is to get rid of Hoopa but I have found I don't use it too much. I have tried Oranguru but it didn't help me at all in the past. I sadly do not currently own any N's, but I am planning to buy them along with some more Float Stones and Max Elixirs.

This was really helpful! I didn't even notice I was bricking until you mentioned it. I don't own any exilirs so I do feel energy switch is a good alternetive. Energy Retrival is good too. Skyla will help alot too. Thank You! (i dont own any n's or more float stones and vs seekers lol)

No worries! If you don't have any N's try Judge, it's a more budget alternative that relatively does the same job.
